Green Up Day Hinesburg
Green Up Day, held annually on the first Saturday in May, is an easy way for Hinesburg residents to help with the cleaning and greening up of our town. This year Green Up Day is Saturday, May 7, 2011.

Green Up Day is Saturday, May 7th. Don't despair if you are unavailable on May 7th. Why not start early? Take advantage of the extra daylight and Green Up down your road after dinner. Maybe you'd like to rise early and get out this weekend. Either way, Green Up bags are now available at both the Town Hall (Clerk's Office) and the Carpenter Carse Library. When you pick up your bags mark down which road you will be doing on the sign-out sheets. Bags can be brought to the town recycling center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Green Up day. If you prefer to leave bags securely along the roadside, just note it on the sign-out sheets. Whether you Green Up early or on Saturday, May 7th please join us for our annual community lunch at the Hinesburg Town Hall. Thanks Hinesburg for being such a great community to live in!
