Selectboard
Meeting
September 4, 2001
This meeting was held as a site visit to Hayden Hill Road East, for the purpose of discussing proposed road improvements.
Present at the meeting were: Selectboard Chair Lynn Gardner, Selectboard Members Andrea Morgante, Jonathan Trefry, John Guttler and Randy Volk, Public Works Director Rocky Martin, Road Foreman Michael Anthony, Tree Warden Paul Wieczoreck, Town Administrator Jeanne Wilson, Hayden Hill East residents Michael Potvin, Minton Jeffrey, Andy and Jeane Hubinger, Tim Hultgren, Terry Barbour, and Jon LeBlanc.
The meeting was called to order at 6:20 PM by Selectboard Chair Lynn Gardner.
After walking the area of proposed improvements, and marking which trees would need to be removed, Lynn Gardner made a motion that the Selectboard, upon viewing the Class 3 and Class 4 sections of Hayden Hill Road East, vote to waive the 18' width requirement, and approve a 14' traveled portion with a total width of 26' to accommodate drainage and snow removal. The trees to be removed would be those marked during the walk-through, and the Class 3 portion of the road will be crowned, graded and raised. In addition, the Town will maintain the road to the degree necessary to provide public access to the Town Forest. The motion was seconded by Jon Trefry and approved.
