Attending the

Chairman Lynn Gardner
called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Public Hearing on
Revisions to the Town Plan: Lynn Gardner called the hearing to order at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the hearing was to receive
public comments on the revised Town Plan, pursuant to Title 24 V.S.A. Chapter
117. Planning Commission Chairperson
Jean Isham noted that this update to the Town Plan was a straightforward,
statistical update. Planning Commission
member John Mace concurred with Jean’s assessment. Planning Commission member George Bedard noted that the
Commission had acted in an expeditious manner, in order to ensure the ability
to apply for future planning grants.
No further comments
were received, and at 7:15 PM Randy made a motion to close the public
hearing. The motion was seconded by Jon
and approved.
Buried Utility Permit
/ James O’Neill on Buck Hill Road West:
At the request of the
Board at the September 9, 2002 meeting, George Bedard had provided a letter
from the Vermont Electric Cooperative, confirming that they will take over
ownership of the primary power line, and will be responsible for maintenance, repair
or replacement. Jon moved that the
Board vote to approve the Buried Utility Permit of R.B & R.H. Goodrich to
install a primary power line in two locations under Buck Hill Road West to
provide power to the O’Neill property (Grand List Lot # 9-1-44.00), subject to
the terms and conditions placed on the permit by the Road Foreman and all State
and local permits governing the development of this parcel. The motion was seconded by John and
approved.
At 7:15 PM John made
a motion to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Jon and approved.
