2. Hinesburg Community Gardens Initiative – Toby – point person
a. Possible Bost land near PO
b. Concerns:
i. May be Class 3 Wetlands in part,
ii. Zoned commercial, can be used for agriculture
iii. Planning Comm. Has discussed community park there
iv. Should be able to avoid Act 250 will verify with Alex
v. Gardener's would register through the Town for a 25 X 25' plot and would pay a modest fee
vi. Will need a site coordinator to ensure that plots are maintained
vii. Need to till semiannually and manure annually
viii. Need watering source
ix. Hope to offer plots in spring 2008
x. Is there a need to secure the investment with a lease?
