- Transportation update (KM): will apply for United-We-Ride Grant
(VTrans)
- Affordable housing discussion update
(DC): report by Affordable
Housing Committee given to Planning Commission and in its hands
- Traffic control (Creekside supposed to
do right hand turn lane/Mechanicsville Road onto 116; National Bank of
Middlebury study by consultant indicates something will have to be done
with Mechanicsville/116 intersection to accommodate bank
- Current status of Planning Commission Village Growth
Project: report on current status
and timeline
- PC not happy with “build to” concept
in VSC set of recommendations
- Signage (VSC recommendation) and timeline: right now the signage initiative is
languishing; VSC will try to jump-start process
- Program planning with committee budget discussed
- Village Master Plan by VSC and timeline discussed
- Announcements
- Any new business (if any)
- On the proposal to move (possibly) the
memorial monuments to a central location at Town Hall (south side): Brian Busier reported that Rob Bast
did a drawing; VSC agreed it wants to see monuments move to town hall
(Rolf Kielman should do a sketch)
- Set agenda for next meeting (March 12): monuments, signage, PC Growth Project
document to be discussed.
