Meeting Minutes, October 8, 2007

Members present: George Dameron, Donna Constantineau, Dona Walker, Karla Munson, Rolf Kielman and guest Rodman Cory

Absent: Brian Busier

Minutes of September, 2007 meeting approved. Correction Karla Munson absent from September meeting

Rodman Cory present as guest.

Updates and Reports:

- Article describing VSC progress sent to Hinesburg Record and Front Porch Forum.

- Tracy Applin will not continue on VSC. Thanks to Tracy for her service. Vacancy to be filled by Selectboard.

- Progress reported regarding construction on light and intersection at 116 and Charlotte Road

- Discussion with Andrea Morgante and Center Road proposal postponed to November meeting.

- Note meeting on Green Space on October 8, Village Growth on October 10, Wastewater on October 29 and noise ordinace on October 15^th.

- Remaining Agenda items for continued work by VSC include signage, historic village study, village growth and monument re-location. VSC continue to work on these items.

- Please review current draft of Village Growth Study and attend meeting on October 10, 2007

- VSC expected to give feedback on proposed wastewater upgrade.

- Rolf Kielman to take on role of VSC Chair, Donna to be recording secretary.

- Transportation: United we ride program selected Robin Way (Cider) as consultant for this program

- Agenda for next meeting: Rolf to formulate with George’s assistance.
