TRAILS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

December 17, 2008

Present: Frank Twarog, Launa Lagasse, Greg LeRoy, Ken Brown, Stewart Pierson, Collin McNaull

1) Thistle Hill Trails: agreement between Frisbie (Developer) and DRB is that before the final building on the project is granted, the two trails must be built. The project seems to be moving very slowly. Frank will remain in touch with Mr. Bart Frisbie.

2) Grant writing for Trail development. We missed one dead line but hope that we will not miss the next one. It could help Trail development.

3) Contact with Conservation Commission: suggest that a representative from our committee attend a Conservation Meeting when trails are on the agenda.

4) Bissonnette Forrest: work on the management plan continues.

5) Hinesburg Town Forest management plan: is in need of refreshing. Ken Brown, Steve Russell, and Andrea Morgante are working on this "refreshing".

This meeting ended at 7:30 due to a Planning Commission Meeting.
