Meeting Minutes

March 5, 2009

Committee Members Present: Rocky Martin, Carl Bohlen, George Bedard, Kellie Stoll, Julie Pierson, Bruce Wheeler, Dale Wernhoff.

Also Present: Peter Erb, Kelly Hamshaw, Corey Anne Beach, Sarah Weintraub, Dan Baker

The meeting came to order at approximately 6:10 PM (special date and time to accommodate our guest speakers).

Previous Meeting Cancelled: The meeting planned for February 4, 2009 was cancelled due to tonight’s guest speakers not being available.

Guest Speakers: Kelly Hamshaw, a UVM graduate student, and Corey Anne Beach of the CVOEO Mobile Home Project surveyed the residents of the Mountain View Mobile Home Park in town. They were assisted by Sarah Weintraub and UVM Professor Dan Baker. The residents were surveyed on a wide variety of topics. They are compiling the results now and will release them to the town at a later date.

Guest Speaker: Peter Erb, the Hinesburg Zoning Administrator, discussed some of the issues he deals with at the town’s three mobile home parks, particularly those at the Mountain View Mobile Home Park. Peter reviewed the pluses and minuses of the parks from his point of view and also weighed in with his “wish list” of improvements for them.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 7:55 PM.
