Meeting Minutes

May 7, 2009

Meeting started at 7:05 pm

Present: Rocky Martin, Bruce Wheeler, Carl Bohlen, George Bedard

Discussed sending out CHT flyer “Need a Loan for a House Do-over?” in the upcoming tax bills to increase awareness of the program

Discussed potential affordable housing projects and issues including:

*  Use of part of Geprag property, it has been determined to be not at all possible

*  David Carse’s project off 116, could some of the houses be made affordable?

*  LaPlatte Headwaters Conservation – is there any potential for affordable housing there?

*   Saputo Cheese Factory land – what is the potential for affordable housing there?

        An quick assessment will be done and presented to Saputo Redevelopment 

        Steering Committee

*  Other possibilities for various parcels of land in and out of the village area were discussed
