Meeting Minutes

October 7, 2009

Committee Members Present: Rocky Martin, Kellie Stoll, Julie Pierson, Carl Bohlen, George Bedard, Bruce Wheeler, Andrea Brainard, Dale Wernhoff.

The meeting came to order at approximately 7:10 PM.

Minutes: Reviewed September 2008 to April 2009 minutes.

Housing Needs Assessment: We discussed what we need to do to get a Housing Needs Assessment in the works. We need to write up a Request For Proposal (RFP), then send out the RFP, receive bids, select a vendor, then inform the Select Board which would vote on it. We need to decide what we consider the primary data we are looking for and what secondary data we may like to have included depending on how the bids come back. Kellie suggested having an “a la carte” list of data that a bidder could fill in the prices for and we could pick and choose among the items until we got to our limit ($5000 is currently budgeted for this assessment; this info will be included in the RFP). Andrea has volunteered to write up the RFP. After the committee reviews her draft she’ll revise the RFP if/as required. We hope to have it done by the end of the year, if not before.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:15 PM.

Next Meeting – October 19th at 6:30 PM in main hall – meet with UVM and CVOEO representatives to discuss their survey of the Mountain View Mobile Home Park in town.
