Meeting Minutes

November 9, 2009

Members Present: Rolf Kielman, Karla Munson, Dona Walker, George Dameron, Jane Starkweather, Aaron Kimball

Members Absent: Brian Busier

Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m.

1) September and October meeting minutes approved

2) Reviewed working list of possible work activities for the VSC during 2009-2010 from last month's minutes.

3) Discussion of possible grant money available towards village improvements. Improvements to include: benches, better lighting, clock at town hall, landscaping, monument park update, and village entry signs. KM to look for available grants.

4) Canal area landscaping needed. Clearing weeds. Benches properly placed. Dredge the canal? Improve public access to the water. Improve access to water for fire dept.

5) Sidewalk update. Discussed sidewalk construction plans and how they relate to the VSC's sidewalk priorities list.

6) Memorial Park. RK, KM, and JS shared some sketch ideas. Discussed possible design ideas. Available money to move forward on this plan?
