Tom M called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m.
Minutes from July 20, 2010: Zoë W made a motion to accept, Dennis P seconded. A vote was taken. 5-0. - THE MOTION PASSED
Bissonette/Champlain Oil: Jiffy Mart: 2-lot subdivision-Shelburne Falls Road/Route 116. Tax Map #( 16-20-56.500): Members: Tom McGlenn, Zoë Wainer, Dick Jordan, Dennis Place, George Munson,
The applicant’s engineer gave a presentation showing the changes that were discussed and requested, at the last months meeting. Concerns about the trucks coming in for the diesel fuel, how the trucks would enter and leave the property, and is the planned ingress/egress going to cause major traffic problems at the corner. The Board asked if the applicant could have their traffic study coordinator provide a new traffic analysis with the changes to the ingress/egress, and present the findings at the August 24th meeting. Tom M made a motion to continue this application to the August 24th meeting with the applicant providing the requested information.
Dennis P seconded. A vote was taken. 5-0. - The Motion Passed.
Lyman/Milot: Kinney Drugs: Tax Map #(08-01-06.320) - 12-lot subdivision -property located on Route 116 / Farmall Drive: Members: Tom McGlenn, Zoë Wainer, Dick Jordan, Dennis Place, George Munson
The project engineer displayed renderings of how the project will look after some changes were made. The possibility of affordable housing (Housing Vermont), parking spaces, trails, road width on Kailey’s Way, traffic flow from the Westside road to Route 116 and recreation fields were discussed. The project engineer said Housing Vermont is seriously looking into the possibility of acquiring some of the condos. Tom M made a motion to continue this application at the August 24th meeting George M seconded. A vote was taken. 5-0. The Motion Passed.
Hart: Conditional Use non-complying structure on property located on Wood Run. Tax Map #(14-21-74.000): Members: Tom McGlenn, Dick Jordan, Dennis Place, George Munson
Zoë W recused herself from this application.
The interested parties to this application had come to an agreement before the meeting. Travis Hart would put up a fence on Diane Langevin’s property to hide the bulkhead and propane tanks located on his property and plant more trees. Both parties agreed this would insure blocking her view and giving her privacy which she wanted. Travis stated he is seeking a Certificate of Compliance for his property. Dennis P made a motion to accept the draft decision with the conditions of trees included. George M seconded. A vote was taken. 4-0. - The Motion Passed.
Francis: Revision to Final Plat for property located on Hayden Hill West. Tax Map #(09-01-16.500): Members: Tom McGlenn, Zoë Wainer, Dick Jordan, Dennis Place, George Munson
Zoë W rejoined the Board.
Discussion on wording for hedge row were discussed and agreed upon. Zoë W made a motion to accept the Draft decision as amended George M seconded. A vote was taken. 5-0. - The Motion Passed.
Tom M made a motion to close the meeting. Dennis P seconded the motion. A vote was taken. 5-0. - The Motion Passed.
Tom M closed the meeting at 10:29 p.m.
