Meeting Minutes

April 12, 2010

Attending the meeting: Jon Trefry, Andrea Morgante, Ken Brown, Howard Russell and Jeanne Wilson

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Howard moved that the Board vote to go into executive session for the purpose of discussing legal and personnel matters. Seconded by Andrea and approved.

Howard moved that the Board vote to come out of executive session. Seconded by Andrea and approved.

Howard moved that the Board vote to amend the job description for the Deputy Chief position to remove the statement “Incumbents will be required to wear a uniform and carry firearms during duty shifts” since the requirement to wear a uniform will be at the discretion of the Chief of Police. Seconded by Andrea and approved.

Andrea moved that the Board vote to approve and sign letters of employment to Fred Silber as Chief of Police and Frank Koss as Deputy Chief. Seconded by Ken and approved.

Andrea moved that the Board vote to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. Seconded by Howard and approved.
