Selectboard Meeting - January 22, 1999
Attending the meeting: Selectboard Members Lynn Gardner, John Guttler and Andrea Morgante. Kathleen Ramsay, Town Administrator.
Board Chairman Lynn Gardner called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
Vermont Municipal Planning Grant Program
Andrea Morgante moved that the Board vote to adopt the Resolution to apply for Vermont Municipal Planning Grant Program Supplemental Funding Round for funding for the Chittenden South Supervisory District and Member Towns to Study the Impact of Development on Schools. John Guttler seconded the motion which was approved unanimously by the Board.
Iroquois First Response Squad, Inc.
John Guttler moved that the Board vote to authorize him to sign the Restated Articles of Incorporation of the Iroquois First Response Squad, Inc. on January 18, 1999 on behalf of the Selectboard. Andrea Morgante seconded the motion which was approved unanimously by the Board.
Town of Hinesburg Web Site
The Board endorsed the idea of allowing a web site link for the Hinesburg Business & Professional Association while prohibiting the posting of direct web site links for local businesses. The idea being that local businesses could link to the Hinesburg Business & Professional Association which would link to the Town of Hinesburg web site. This way the Town does not have to screen businesses and/or their web sites.
Town Meeting Warning Signed
As approved at their January 18, 1999 meeting, the Board signed the warning for the 1999 Town Meeting.
At 4:35 p.m., Andrea Morgante moved that the Board vote to adjourn the meeting. John Guttler seconded the motion which was approved unanimously by the Board.
