| Police and Public Safety Advisory Committee |

Hinesburg town residents have expressed a desire to understand the core public safety needs of the
Town of Hinesburg and how those needs can most efficiently and economically be addressed. As a result,
the Hinesburg Selectboard formed an Advisory Committee on Police and Public Safety Services. The committee will report on their findings by November 1, 2011. This aggressive timeline was chosen so that the report will be able to be used to by the Selectboard, town staff, and residents with the development of the FY2012-2013 town budget.
