Below is a list of open positions at The Town of Hinesburg.
Winter Grounds Assistance - This is a seasonal and part-time position that is primarily responsible for plowing the town's sidewalk network using the town's sidewalk plow. Depending on the weather, work on weekends and holiday's is possible. Outside of sidewalk plowing, hours can be flexible. There are no benefits but starting pay is $25.00 an hour.
Water and/or Wastewater Operator - This position is responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the town water and wastewater systems. Hinesburg supplies water through approximately 400 hookups to 700 families and 50 businesses. Water is provided from two wells and two pump stations, which distribute an average of 130,000 gallons per day. The wastewater treatment plant consists of a pump station and a .250 MGD aerated lagoon, which services approximately 300 customers.
Public Works Director - This is a (part-time or full-time) management position that oversees the Highway and Water & Wastewater departments
