Howard Center Reports
The Town contracts with the Howard Center for the provision of a "Community Outreach Program." The purpose of the program is to support the police department by assisting individuals with social service needs and problematic behaviors that are non-criminal and often based on or related to the individual's mental health issues or substance abuse. Thus allowing the Hinesburg Police Department to focus more on criminal matters and pro-active policing.
